Care: Machine wash warm on low/gentle cycle. Use laundry mesh bag to reduce linting. Hang to dry. Avoid machine drying, if possible, for longer life of the untreated hemp loops. If you must machine dry, please use low heat/delicate cycle and mesh bag and remove promptly. Natural fibers do not like high heat. Please note that the durability of natural fiber products may be reduced by chlorine and other acids added to municipal water.

Note: It’s impossible to get baste fibers like linen and hemp to yield uniform loops (from our 16 years of specializing in making organic hemp and linen terry towels as well as from samples of heritage Irish and Scandinavian linen pile towels we have collected over the years). Skipped loops are normal and do not affect the performance of these rare heritage-quality towels. In fact, they are characteristic and part of the charms of baste fiber terries.
